Dr. Jung was born in Korea, raised in South Africa, and completed his residency in pediatrics in the United States. For several years, he worked with the underserved Hispanic migrant worker community in Central California. He brings this wide breadth of education and experience to his practice in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.
Seeing a great need for local pediatricians in the area because of the fast-growing community and a massive influx of young families from all over the United States, Dr. Jung founded Sunny Hill Pediatrics in 2023. He utilizes his fluency in English, Korean, and medical Spanish, as well as his broad and diverse cultural background, to bring families a unique patient-doctor relationship they may not experience elsewhere.
Dr. Jung believes in establishing a partnership with parents, recognizing them as the primary advocates for their child's health. By fostering open communication, trust, and mutual respect, Dr. Jung works collaboratively with parents to develop personalized care plans that align with their child's unique needs and preferences.
In his free time, Dr. Jung enjoys coaching youth soccer and basketball, participating in his church, cooking Texas bbq with his backyard smoker, and watching his favorite sports teams and the latest Marvel movies.
